Meet Virginia Mary, author of the young adult fantasy trilogy Across the Great Ocean–and a lover of literature, photography, cats, and all things outdoors. Based in New York, she enjoys spending time in nature and can often be found somewhere in the sun, sipping her favorite tea and stopping to smell the flowers.

As a child, Virginia was deeply inspired by S.E. Hinton's The Outsiders, a novel that sparked her love of storytelling. Her favorite series is Dune by Frank Herbert. In addition to fantasy and sci-fi, she enjoys reading about geopolitics, philosophy, and world history.
